SEASON DATES: October 7, 2008 through October 26, 2008 AND

January 12, 2009  through January 25, 2009
BAG LIMIT: One (1) per tag holder per year
LEGAL DEER: Any Antlered Deer (BUCK), please see SPECIAL REGULATIONS
NUMBER OF PERMITS: 50 issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.
SPECIAL REGULATIONS: Archery Deer tags will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis beginning September 5, 2008.  Archery Deer tag holders are not eligible for the general rifle Mule Deer OR Whitetail Deer OR 55+ Deer seasons (1A, 1B, and 1D, 1F above). Archery Deer tag holders may take either an Antlered Mule Deer or Antlered Whitetail, not both. Archery Deer tag holders will be eligible for the Unit 8 Trophy Deer hunt (1E).
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE:

Section R1. B

i.               Illegal calibers include but are not limited to the following: .22, .22 Magnum, 5mm, .222 and/or .22/250.   

ii.             Bows having a standard pull of 50 or more pounds using arrows with metal broadheads having no less than 7/8-inch width cutting edges. Mechanical broadheads of any type (broadheads having hinged/rotating blades) are prohibited.

iii.            Center fire handguns and handguns of caliber not less than .44 Magnum.
