TRIBAL MEMBER - ZONE 2 FALL BULL ELK

SEASON DATES: November 15, 2008 through November 30, 2008
BAG LIMIT: One (1) per tag holder per year
LEGAL ELK: Any Antlered Elk
NUMBER OF PERMITS: 65, issued by DRAW
SPECIAL REGULATIONS: Their is a mandatory 1-year waiting period for the Zone 2 Fall Bull Elk hunt beginning with 2006 Zone 2 Fall Bull Elk tag holders.  2006 Zone 2 Fall Bull Elk tag holders ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ZONE 2 FALL BULL ELK TAG UNTIL 2008.  This waiting period DOES OT APPLY TO THE ZONE 1, 3A AND 3B Fall Bull Elk hunts.

Hunters may hold either a Fall Bull Elk or Trophy Elk - Unit 8 tag, but ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO HOLD BOTH TAG IN THE SAME YEAR.  See Section H2 for application and Draw information.
LEGAL TAKING DEVICE:

Section R1. B

i.               Illegal calibers include but are not limited to the following: .22, .22 Magnum, 5mm, .222 and/or .22/250.   

ii.             Bows having a standard pull of 50 or more pounds using arrows with metal broadheads having no less than 7/8-inch width cutting edges. Mechanical broadheads of any type (broadheads having hinged/rotating blades) are prohibited.

iii.            Center fire handguns and handguns of caliber not less than .44 Magnum.
