TRIBAL MEMBER - ZONE 3A FALL BULL ELK

SEASON DATES: November 15, 2008 through November 30, 2008
BAG LIMIT: One (1) per tag holder per year
LEGAL ELK: Any Antlered Elk
NUMBER OF PERMITS: 45, issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.
SPECIAL REGULATIONS: 2006 Bull Elk tag holders are eligible for this hunt.  Hunters may hold either a Fall Bull Elk or a Trophy Elk - Unit 8 tag, but ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO HOLD BOTH TAGS IN THE SAME YEAR.

These tags will be available ONLY to those Tribal Members who were not drawn for any of the 2007 Bull Elk hunts or did not purchase a 2007 Unit 8 Trophy Bull - Archery tag. 

These tags will be available August 28, 2008

PERSONS ENTERING THE RODEO/CHEDISKI and/or THE KINISHBA BURN AREA FOR THE PURPOSE OF HUNTING DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK.  IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT PERSONS HUNTING THESE AREAS UTILIZE THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE GROUND FOR ENTERING, EXITING AND PARKING.  DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING.  PERSONS ENTERING THESE AREAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF HUNTING SHOULD ALWAYS BE AWARE OF CURRENT AND POTENTIAL WEATHER CONDITIONS AND PLAN THEIR TRAVEL ROUTES ACCORDINGLY.  THE W&ORD ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY PROPERTY LOSS, DAMAGE, OR BODILY HARM INCURRED IN THESE AREAS.

i.               Illegal calibers include but are not limited to the following: .22, .22 Magnum, 5mm, .222 and/or .22/250.   

ii.             Bows having a standard pull of 50 or more pounds using arrows with metal broadheads having no less than 7/8-inch width cutting edges. Mechanical broadheads of any type (broadheads having hinged/rotating blades) are prohibited.

iii.            Center fire handguns and handguns of caliber not less than .44 Magnum.
